Devoleena Bhatacharjee was born on 22 August 1985 in Assam. When Devoleena was younger, her father had left this world and on her mother came the responsibility of Devoleena and her younger brother. After her childhood, she went to Delhi to complete her College studies. She learned to dance in Delhi and Devoleena gave her audition in many dance reality shows, In all those shows, Devoleena was also selected, but after a few weeks, she was eliminated, But She did not give up, her courage got stronger.
After that Devoleena came to Mumbai. Devoleena got a chance to work in a serial named (Saware Sabke Sapne Preeto) after much struggle. After working in that serial, Devoleena started receiving many offers , But Devoleena wanted to be a Main Actress in Serials so She rejected many offers and Finally Devoleena got The character of Gopi Bahu in One of the most Popular Show Saath Nibhana Saathiya.
